Came across this article about the Sundance Film Festival (Park City, Utah), and it reminded me of our visit there for the 2002 Olympics. Really liked the town, old mining town, pretty touristy, but lots of fun things to see and do. When we were there for the Olympics, they had a huge tv screen at the end of the street in above photo, could watch Olympic events on it. It was snowing, and they were having fireworks too. All pretty cool, but bizarre too, to be happening in the snow. Really had a great time. Anyway, link below takes you to news story about Park City (home of the Sundance Film Festival) and how it all got started.
